Hi, I have a Samsung Galaxy Tab, and I connected a USB-C HDMI cable. When I connected it to my Samsung phone, the screen mirrored just fine, but when I connect the tablet, nothing happens. Anyone know what might be going on?

S9 FE’s don’t support video out.
Are there any apps that might help? I tried one yesterday, but it didn’t work.
@Zoren
I don’t think there’s an app for this, but I could be wrong. The only possible app is Super Display, but I’ve never used it.
@Zoren
You asked about apps. What display are you trying to mirror to?
If it’s Android-based or Roku, you can mirror by swiping down on your quick settings and choosing Smart View. From there, select the Android device.
If you’re using Xbox, try an app called AirServer.
Alternatively, you could buy a wireless dongle like this to connect to any HDMI display:
IOGEAR Mini Wireless Screen Sharing with HDMI Connection Amazon.com: IOGEAR Mini Wireless Screen Sharing with HDMI® Connection : Electronics

Thanks for the suggestions, guys. I think I’ll look into a wireless solution that’s easy enough for my wife to use when she’s out for lectures.

You can try Smart View; almost all Galaxy devices have this feature.
You can wirelessly mirror your screen, but you can’t display out with a wired connection.

I know about wireless mirroring, but I need to project to a projector.
