Is there a removable privacy screen for phones?

I’m looking for something I can easily remove when I don’t need it. I know the privacy screens are useful but I find them pretty annoying most of the time. I work with kids, and they always want to see what I’m doing on my phone. Plus, sometimes when I’m out in public, it would be nice to have one. Does anyone know if there’s a removable option for a phone privacy screen?

I haven’t heard of anything like that. Why don’t you want one that’s permanent?

I just find them a bit annoying. I usually look at my phone at an angle and often share videos or things with people. The privacy screen makes it harder to see the screen at the right angle for sharing.

Got it, that makes sense

Yeah, that’s why I stopped using mine too.

Yes, there are removable privacy screens and they work great! I worked at an aerospace company that gave us privacy screens for our laptops. They were awesome, you could only see the screen if you were looking at it head-on. It worked well on planes, buses, coffee shops, and places like that. Just search ‘laptop privacy screen’ on Amazon or Staples, and you’ll find something that should work for your phone.

I’ve seen them for laptops, but I’m looking for one for a phone.

My sister-in-law had one installed on her phone at T-Mobile. It’s really good, unless you’re looking directly at the screen, you can’t see anything. It wasn’t expensive either.

I had a magnetic privacy screen for a tablet before. It was okay, but I prefer the adhesive ones. For a phone, maybe you could get a non-adhesive one and just cut it to fit a bit bigger than the screen, then slide it into your case.

Samsung makes official removable magnetic privacy screen protectors for their Galaxy Tabs, but not for phones.

I saw something on Amazon that said it was a reusable privacy screen. You could try searching for that.
