Is Samsung S24 FE good? Galaxy S

Hi!

I’m considering upgrading from my Xiaomi Mi10, but here in Ukraine, we only get Exynos versions of the S24, so I’m torn between the S24 and S24 FE.

The FE has a better battery and runs cooler, but it’s bigger (the same size as my Mi10) and doesn’t look as sleek.

I thought about the iPhone 16, but it’s nearly twice the price here, and I don’t think I need to spend that much for my phone usage.

Since it’s been out for a few days, is it any good?

Personally, I’d go for the S24Fe. Check your local Samsung online store for deals on the S24 and S24+. In Singapore, they’re offering a free Galaxy Watch 7 (40mm) and Galaxy Buds 3 with the S24+, priced at $1,528. For the newly released S24 FE, there’s a $150 overtrade bonus and a $100 accessories voucher, with a price of $1,028.

The S24 FE, with its Exynos 2400 processor, actually outperforms the Snapdragon Gen 2 found in the highly praised S23. It doesn’t run too hot, has great battery life for a full day of use, and is receiving positive reviews from YouTubers. I found it amusing when Exynos critic Techmo downplayed the phone, attributing its performance to a “random good chip.” Interestingly, another YouTuber reported similar specs from his S24 FE.

I know Exynos isn’t considered the best, but it’s been flawless for me, and I didn’t even realize it was disliked until I joined Reddit.

I really like the stats and benchmarks of the S24 FE, and I’m hoping it goes on sale or offers a better trade-in deal.

In my opinion, it’s not a great deal, especially since I got a new 512GB S24+ on a deep sale for $629 a few weeks ago. It’s better in every way.

Last Black Friday, the S23 SE was on sale on Amazon for $399. If you can find it for that price or even $449, go for it.

I think it’s a great phone, much better than the S23 FE. People should stop hating on Exynos—most of those who criticize it haven’t even tested the phone themselves.
