The phones are decent, and the flagship Exynos is surprisingly strong this year, but given the price difference, they aren’t worth choosing over the previous generation.
The watches still perform poorly in fitness tracking (as noted by Watch Quantified Scientist reviews), and their quality control has declined this year.
The only standout product is the Galaxy Buds 3 series; despite a rocky launch, the Pro version competes well with the top TWS on the market and shows significant improvements over the Buds 2 Pro.
I hope to see improvements in watch accuracy and quality control next year.
I have a Note 20 Ultra and just got an S24+. The battery life and speed alone make the upgrade worth it. If you’re coming from an S9, you’d notice a huge difference.
Honestly, I have a problem calling the Galaxy Buds 3 a good product—they were full of issues, the design is a total copy, and both the audio quality and noise canceling are just average at best.
I never agreed with comparing this year’s phone model to last year’s. Most people don’t upgrade every year. If you liked the 5 and don’t see much of an upgrade in the 6, then what’s the complaint?
Is the s21 the one that was a reasonable size? I went from an S9 which I loved to a one plus 8 which is meh. Want to get back to Samsung but not pay new phone prices, especially for a phone that is way too big for my hand.
