Good android note taking apps

I love Android and dislike Apple for various reasons. When I was looking for good Android tablets, I couldn’t find any, so I ended up getting an iPad Pro. Now, however, there’s been a surge in quality Android tablets, including those from Samsung. I want to switch to a complete Samsung ecosystem since I already have an S22 Ultra. I’m considering buying an S9 tablet, but I’ve heard there aren’t many good note-taking apps available on Android.

Samsung Notes is quite good. I also use INKredible because it helps correct my poor handwriting, and I definitely need all the assistance I can get!

I believe Android has some great note-taking apps, but they aren’t advertised effectively. I’ve likely tried all the note-taking apps on the Play Store, and my favorite is definitely Notein. It offers all the features you could want: an infinite canvas, AI capabilities, auto shape recognition, stickers, and the ability to import PDF and Office files, among others.

I love Samsung Notes. I’ve been in college since 2019 and have tried countless apps on both Android and iOS, but Samsung Notes always comes out on top. My only drawback is that it’s no longer available on Windows, so you can only access it on Samsung devices. It used to be on Windows, which is really frustrating . However, it’s still easy to convert notes to PDF format and share them via Bluetooth to a laptop, so that’s a plus!

I use Samsung Notes for quick bits of information I want to remember, reminders, and sketched notes. For everything else, I use Notion, but I actually prefer OneNote for actual note-taking. If you just want a good app for writing, I would choose OneNote.

Samsung Notes is sufficient for most users. Google Keep is also great for short notes that you want accessible on your watch or similar devices. Those are the only two apps I use.
