Galaxy S24 Ultra users, do you use the eSIM feature?

I don’t use a physical SIM, but I’ve switched to eSIM. No big difference for me. It’s nice knowing I can add another SIM, physical or eSIM, if I need it.

I use eSIM for both work and personal numbers. It works perfectly.

eSIM is really useful when traveling abroad. At home, though, unless you need multiple lines, it doesn’t have much benefit.

eSIM is basically the same as a regular SIM. The only real benefits are getting a new number quickly or getting a local provider’s service while traveling.

I’m still upset that the S23 series doesn’t support dual eSIM. I have to use either a SIM and eSIM or two SIMs to get dual SIM functionality.

I use eSIM. It’s much easier for me, though I only have one active line on my phone.

Yeah, I’m using the eSIM feature on my S24 Ultra.

I used the eSIM when I stayed in Britain. Since mobile data isn’t included in my plan after Brexit, I got a data plan for the UK and could still use my German phone number.

I use two MVNO carriers. I probably pay less for two lines than most people do for one.

I prefer a physical SIM. I would use eSIM as a secondary option, but I like being able to switch SIMs between devices.

I live in a country where Samsung supports dual SIM. I use one main SIM without data and a cheap prepaid data SIM. I pay about 35-40 USD for 500GB a month for the whole year. It’s nice because I always have a free slot if I need it for travel.

I’m using eSIM on my A55.

In the U.S., most networks like Verizon only support eSIM on iPhones. Some MVNOs support other phones, but not all.

This is not correct.
