After two months of using the S24 FE, I’ve gathered some stats and thoughts. Ask me anything about it or check out my details below.
Does the FHD resolution bother you?

Not at all. I’ve always used 1080p because my internet can’t handle higher without buffering, even on YouTube.

Honestly, I have 20/20 vision and stick to 1080p even on bigger phones. The higher resolutions were really a thing during the VR trend when people were using phones super close to their faces. On a screen this size, I can’t tell the difference even up close. Feels like it’s just there for marketing.

How does it compare to the stock Gallery or Studio apps? Also, why do you prefer UHD at 60fps instead of 30fps?
@Ira
I prefer 60fps because it’s smoother and great for details, especially if I need slow motion. CapCut beats stock apps because it comes with features like built-in music and AI tools. It’s super easy to use, and perfect if you’re making short videos for platforms like TikTok.
What’s the charging time like? From 0 to 50% or 0 to 100%?

With a fast charger, you can hit about 60% in 30 minutes.
16-hour idle battery life? That’s bad. My S23 Ultra lasts 35-40 hours on idle. Why accept 16 hours?

16 hours does sound low. Have you checked for apps running in the background or battery settings that could be draining it?
As a content creator, why not use a flagship phone for the cameras? Even a used S23 Ultra or an older model?

In my country, the S23 Ultra is about RM6.5k, and that’s way over my budget. RM2.6k for the S24 FE is already a lot—it’s equal to my monthly paycheck, and I earn minimum wage. For me, it’s not about having the best; it’s about whether it gets the job done. The S24 FE does everything I need: great cameras, 7 years of software support, and good performance—all at a fraction of the price of a flagship. It’s actually the most expensive phone I’ve ever owned.
@Kit
Thanks for explaining. Makes total sense in your situation.
Way too expensive for what it offers. Just wait for the 8 Elite series.
