Hey everyone, I’ve been having an issue with my Samsung A15. It takes over 8 hours to charge, and this started happening halfway through a regular charge.
I’ve tried all the troubleshooting steps I know of, including clearing the USB cache and checking the developer options. I’ve set it to charge only through USB. The port looks clean, and there’s no visible damage.
I’ve used about four different cables and chargers, including Samsung’s own brand.
Has anyone else dealt with this issue? Any suggestions on what I can try?
Maybe the fast charging option is disabled, but I think it’s more likely a problem with the charging port. It could be something like a loose connection or a flex cable issue inside. If it’s the fast charge setting, you can find it in Device Care → Battery. If it’s the port, you’ll probably need a professional to take a look. Another thing to try is using the power brick with another phone. If it charges slowly with that phone too, it could be time for a new power brick.
I use a Galaxy A34 5G, and when I charge it with a Huawei 40W/66W charger, it only recognizes it as a slow charger. It’s a bit confusing because my Huawei laptop works fine with the charger, but the phone doesn’t. Most third-party chargers will only charge slowly, which is why Samsung suggests using the official adapter.
