I was just scrolling through Amazon with the volume really low, and suddenly I heard this super loud beep. It was way louder than anything I’ve heard before, like an Amber Alert sound, but there was no notification or anything. I’m a little freaked out. Anyone know why this might have happened?
Honestly, it could be anything. I’ve had beeps happen on my phone for all kinds of reasons. Even if you mute the media, there are other volumes for notifications, system sounds, and ringtones. Something as simple as charging finishing could trigger a beep. Could also be a routine or another type of notification that didn’t show up.

You might want to turn on notification history in your phone’s advanced settings. That way, if it happens again, you can see if it was logged as a notification or something else.

Ah, it’s on now! Turns out it lines up with a charging notification
