I’ve got a S23 as my secondary phone, and I want to turn it into a gaming device. My main phone is a 16 Pro Max, and while I love Apple, I think the S23 is really impressive. The performance, sound, camera, graphics, refresh rate, and more are way better than I expected from a base Samsung phone. I mainly use my iPhone for school and work, so turning the S23 into a gaming phone seems like a good idea. Any suggestions on games that work well on the S23? Thanks and happy holidays!
It can handle pretty much any regular mobile game
The S23 can run a decent amount of Switch games (yuzu and forks, although they aren’t really being updated anymore) and an increasing number of PC games (Winlator and similar apps)

You can play Steam games with Winlator, and the S23 can handle a lot of PC games
I’m playing 8 ball pool on my S23, but I think you’re looking for heavier games… But hey, I’m thinking about getting an iPhone Plus for smoother gaming, and keeping my S23 for everyday use. That way, I won’t push the battery too much and it’ll last longer

I also downloaded Epic Games to try Fortnite and Fall Guys. Let’s see how it runs on this little device!

iPhones are great for gaming, but there are some games that work better on Android. It doesn’t have to be heavy games, just ones people enjoy on the S23. For example, I’ve been playing Crossy Road a lot. It’s a good time killer, you know?

Give me a few examples of games you want to play. I’ll look them up in the Google Play Store for you. I remember seeing a post where a game didn’t work well on a certain Android model, but I’ll check for you.

Real Racing 3 is pretty fun. I love it. Assoluto Racing is also good.

I noticed that. I don’t have a case on it, so I can feel the heat. It’s not terrible, though. My old 15 Pro Max got way hotter and it was annoying.
Try emulators. There are lots of good old console games. I play Mario Kart Wii on Dolphin.
