Neither. Get a refurbished Lenovo ThinkPad T14s Gen 4 with the Ryzen 7 7840HS CPU. It’s cheaper, handles networking tasks well, and still has good battery life. You’ll only miss out on the great display.

I use a Galaxy Book for personal stuff and a MacBook for work. The MacBook is terrible—slow software, poor battery life, and frustrating to use.

MacBooks with Intel chips are bad, but the M-chip ones have excellent battery life. That said, macOS has limitations for some professional tools.
