I’ve heard some people mention that Samsung TVs have a bit of a motion issue. For anyone who has a Samsung Neo QLED TV, can you confirm? I’m particularly curious about how it performs when watching movies, especially in movie or filmmaker mode.
Sometimes there’s a slight stutter when a scene changes in a movie, but other than that, it works pretty well. You can adjust the judder reduction settings to about 1-3 to fix that stutter, and it pretty much eliminates it.
I own a 55QN95C, but this should be the same for the rest of the Neo QLED lineup too.
@Teal
But doesn’t turning on judder reduction make it look too much like the soap opera effect?

Not if you set it to 1-3. It removes most of the judder without causing that ‘soap opera’ look. The higher you go, the more noticeable the effect.
@Teal
Got it, thanks. By any chance, have you owned Sony TVs before?

Unfortunately, no. I haven’t had a Sony TV.

Oh, ok. What about the picture quality in filmmaker mode? Do you find it to be accurate?
@Ray
Yeah, it looks good. Personally, I don’t like the lack of brightness, so I prefer using movie mode instead.
