Made the jump from A10 to the S24 FE… and it’s a whole new world. Anyone else experienced such a big leap?

My mom’s using a 2020 A01, and it’s been holding up fine. My sister’s J7 III has lasted over 5 years, no problems. Some of these budget phones really are underrated.
Can’t wait to upgrade from my Galaxy S2 to the S25 in February! Anyone else made such a big jump?

S2 is basically a joke these days. It’s almost unusable without a custom ROM. But hey, if you install something light, it might work for basic stuff.

Actually, the S2 has 1GB of RAM, not 256MB. It still won’t run much, though.

Yeah, it probably did. In fact, it was probably worse than that… unusable at times.

My mom’s still using the 2020 A01, and it’s holding up fine. My sister’s J7 III is still going strong after 5 years. Those A and J series are underrated.

My friend had the A12, and it struggled just opening WhatsApp. I can only imagine the A10 was worse, considering it’s two years older than the A12. Even my work phone (a rugged XCover 7, which is like an A15 in a tough shell) lags now.

I used the A10 for a while, and it wasn’t that bad. Social media worked fine, but I agree it’s not the fastest. I think it got a bad rep. It was still better than the A12.

As a Kenyan still using the A12, I’m thinking of switching to something like the Sony Xperia series. Samsung should really consider using Qualcomm Snapdragon chips in their A or FE series models.

It’s funny because my XCover 7 struggles with WhatsApp and Outlook, but I have a M15 (A15 with a bigger battery), and it runs everything smoothly. I play high-graphic games and multitask with no issue. Surprised at how well it performs, especially considering the lower price!
